Society6 Prints, T-shirts, and more…by ME!

Hello all! Here’s a couple more designs for my Society6 page and here. If you aren’t familiar with Society6, they are a print and merchandise maker that does print on demand work. They can frame prints for you, do t-shirts, cell phone cases, throw pillows, greeting card prints (my favorite), coffee mugs, and more! Pretty cool, eh?

Society6 Prints, T-shirts, and more...by ME!

Hello all! I promised to post a link to my Society6 page and here it is! If you aren't familiar with Society6, they are a print and merchandise maker that does print on demand work. They can frame prints for you, do t-shirts, cell phone cases, throw pillows, greeting card prints (my favorite), coffee mugs, and more! Pretty cool, eh?

My intention is to mix a few mashups like the ones you see on this page with a few legitimate art print designs like the Grasshopper one that I did a few months ago. In a self indulgent, narcissist turn, I will make all the (original) t-shirts worn by Manuel and Chivo in Stonebrook available for purchase. I'd like to do 50/50 ratio on fun mashups and such and completely original designs. Look for more in the future.

That's about it, thanks again.

Comix Rx: Check these people out!

Comix Rx

Here's the second installment of Rx on this blog. Some of you may know that I host a comics podcast (Earth 2), some may not. On the show we do a segment called Comix Rx that is intended to highlight a comic that may be below your radar. Since I have been pimping my store and comics I thought that it was only fair to help out a few of my friends. This is by no means a complete listing, there will be subsequent postings under the Comix Rx banner.

Brad Dwyer has been doing great autobio comix about comics and music for years. Change in Refrain, Epic Tales of the Mundane and my personal favorite, Get Into Comix. Incredible stuff. Rob on the other hand does spectacular paintings whether they are portraits or abstract. Want something more comic booky? You have to check out his ink drawings, you'll be fascinated, possibly disgusted and maybe even arouse. Probably just me on that last one. A unique visionary and all around swell guy.

Here's a couple of their links. I post these without contacting the artists so there may be additional avenues to find their work.

Comix Rx: Check these people out!

Some of you may know that I host a comics podcast (Earth 2), some may not. On the show we do a segment called Comix Rx that is intended to highlight a comic that may be below your radar. Since I have been pimping the opening of my store I thought that it was only fair to help out a few of my friends. While the following have all worked with King Bone Press, they do so much on their own. Harry Moyer has curated and compiled three FREE western anthologies, Saddle Sore and has a unique run of mini comics. The Brothers O'Briant have a plethora of web comics and the all ages print series MAPS published through their Strips4 imprint.  John Boren is the hardest working man in non sequential art! He's always on a quest to do the next drawing and I'm happy to say that I have seen him impress me time and time again with the growth of his art. A little birdy told me that he is working on a sequential story so stay tuned.
So here are your links to free stuff and their stores. Take a gander and if so inclined please support the true independents.
Thank ye,
