Welcome to the “Bobgar needs a lil extra cash this month because he's working the King Bone Press booth at c2e2” commission post! Would you like an original piece of art by yours truly? We’ll all you have to do is commission it. It’s easy, just let me know what you want and I’ll draw it, with a few rare exceptions. All artwork is done with ink/inkwash on bristol board. Below are the basics, if you need something different I’m sure that we can come to an agreement.

*You can preorder any of these commissions but I will likely only be doing the smaller sizes at the convention including smaller $3 sketch cards (trading card size). If you would like the larger size please preorder now to guarantee completion by the convention.

Would you like an original piece of art by yours truly? We’ll all you have to do is commission it. It’s easy, just let me know what you want and I’ll draw it, with a few rare exceptions. All artwork is done with ink/inkwash on bristol board. Below are the basics, if you need something different I’m sure that we can come to an agreement.

Oh, and please be specific about the iteration of the character you want commissions. For example if you want an illustration of “Sandman” let me know which Sandman (Spider-man’s Flint Marko, Morpheus, Logan 3, Golden Age DC, Punch-Out character, Mystery Theatre, etc. etc) The same thing goes if you want a specific costume that a character wears.

If you’ve seen a piece of mine that you want to inquire about, please do, there’s a good chance that I still retain the original artwork. Just ask!

KIng Bone Press book markers

 

Here is the design for the book markers that we are having printed up for the KPB booth at C2E2. Come by and say hello we will be at booth 1384. We'll have signings, artist sketches, original artwork, comics, and free promotional materials like these bookmarkers.

The book will debut at C2E2 and will be available via the King Bone Webstore soon afterwards. King Bone Press will be at Booth 1384 . Come down and say hi! We'll have other new releases making their debut.

I will also be signing and doing convention sketches all three days of the convention. I hope to see you there, and remember you don't need to purchase anything to come and say hello.

Boozehounds 04/18/2012 Guest Writer!

Apologies to all, it turns out that preparing books and travel for C2E2 took a little bit more time from me than I thought it would and I wasn't able to update Boozehounds properly. In fact Felipe Garza had to remind me that I forgot to draw his pre-c2e2 strip. Here's the strip with a slightly modified script, since the con has come and gone. I'll be back to the usual 3 times a week schedule from now on.

b-one #6 cover revealed!

So there is is a tiny view at the process for the cover of b-one issue #6. If you'll take note that I didn't scan pencils for this piece, that's because there were no real pencils for this cover. I did a rough sketch in blueline and went straight to inks. It's a fun little cover that while the scene doesn't actually occur within the book it is thematically accurate.

The book will debut at C2E2 and will be available ant the King Bone Webstore soon afterwards. King Bone Press will be at Booth 692 . Come down and say hi!

C2E2 2012

If you are all in the area in April I will be at C2E2 . I will be sharing a booth with writer/publishing partner Jon Westhoff. We'll be debuting some print books that you may have heard about already. I'll leave it at that for now since full details aren't finalized. If you are not going to be in the area, fear not we're only an email or tweet away.

Just walk up and say hi, you needn't buy anything but of course purchases are greatly appreciated. We should have some free stuff for you. Some comics and other merchandise for sale. I'll also be doing sketches. I'll update when I get confirmation of books being debuted and our booth location and number.
