The Return of b-one FUNZIES!

 Aw, yeah! You know I have to cash in (what cash?) on the Raccoon and Tree craze! Part two of this series. I hope they don't make a third movie so I don't have to make a third throwaway strip.

Well, there ya go! The return of the strip that no one remembers! b-one FUNZIES is back. It never really took off and that was 100% my fault. I'm posting the original ones again below. As you can see they vary in illustration quality. I'm trying my hand at drawing comics via tablet so expect these strips to get better looking the more experience I get working in digital.

New Comic Wednesday: an untitled comic

Welcome back to New Comic Wednesday! Once a month on a Wednesday I will post a short story here on the blog for free! Most stories will be 4-8 pages in length but I'm not ruling out longer entries if the story warrants. 

All new, never before published comics this month! I've been wanting to do more experimental comics as part of my surreal strips. Generally those are "Grasshopper" stories, but as you can see this time around it's more of a progression than story. Still, I use these stories to experiment visually, using different inking styles that I generally don't use day to day in my comics work. Next month will see a return to my more standard approach to storytelling and the return of three of my favorite characters.

All new, never before published comics this month! It's Deviant Animals! I have kicked around the idea of doing a web comic again and this is the result. I had fun revisiting the comic strip structure. I had more fun experimenting with this visual style, colors especially. Anyway, I'd love to revisit Hoffsquatch and Sluggy in the future. Let's hope is it is sooner rather than later.

A while back I was fortunate enough to contribute to Bryan Boles and Jon Westhoff's World's Strongest Mailman. It's a short story placed in the middle of the over all webcomic story. It was a lot of fun, as is the entire opus. You can still check it out in its entirety at Strongest Mailman and I believe there are still a few of the issues and collected editions available as well.
